I grew up during the prime time of Reaganomics (the trickle down theory).   It didn't work then, it doesn't work now.

But the GOP has decided that they want to try it again by passing a disastrous tax plan.  This plan hurts the poor and middle class

By 2019, Americans earning less than $30,000 a year would be worse off under the Senate bill, CBO found. By 2021, Americans earning $40,000 or less would be net losers, and by 2027, most people earning less than $75,000 a year would be worse off.

This plan makes rich people even richer.  While most low income earners would fare the same before 2019, 91 percent of households making between $500,000 and $1 million a year would see a cut of at least $500.

By 2027, about 40 percent of households earning between $200,000 and $500,000 will save at least $500 on their tax bills. More than half of those earning $500,000 or more will. The majority of those earning less than $100,000 a year will see little change in their tax bills — but for those that do see a significant change, the change will be an increase in their tax bills.

We must stand up to this madness and bring common sense back to Washington.  We must let them know that the people's house works for the people.  I vow to fight any more fleecing of the poor and middle class Hoosiers.  How can anyone support a plan that makes the rich richer and the poor poorer?  It's time we took back our government.
